Jade Jaguar Pendant

This hand made sterling silver pendant is inspired by the culture of the Aztec people. It honors the medicine of the jaguar, known to the Aztecs as Ocelot, and is embedded with a jade stone.

The jaguar is a symbol of power, skill, and strength. It was worshipped as a deity because of its ability to see in the night. The Aztecs believed that jaguars were able to move between worlds and that the jaguar was a being of the stars and the earth.

This pendant is intricately crafted by an artisan based in Mexico in collaboration with Anahuac Arts.
